Legal Associate at Gi Group Holding
Gi Group Holding is seeking a Legal Associate to join their established litigation practice in Singapore. This role involves working directly with Partners and Senior Associates on complex civil and commercial disputes, offering opportunities for early file ownership and courtroom exposure.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Admission: Must be an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore (Practice Trainees awaiting formal call are eligible).
- Experience: 0–2 years PQE in civil/commercial litigation within a Singapore law firm.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with eLitigation, LawNet, and standard litigation software.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Court Advocacy: Attend Case Conferences (CCs), Pre-Trial Conferences (PTCs), and interlocutory applications; support counsel in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Drafting: Prepare Letters of Demand, pleadings, affidavits, summonses, and written submissions.
- Research: Conduct legal research on statutory interpretations and procedural issues under the Rules of Court 2021.
- Management: Oversee eLitigation filings, manage case timelines, and serve as a primary contact for clients.
