Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Berlin, Germany. The role focuses on supporting procurement, supply chain, and commercial operations within a global manufacturing environment, acting as a trusted business partner to negotiate complex agreements and manage legal risks.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in Law, with a focus on commercial, contract, or business law.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, chemical, or B2B sectors.
• Proven track record in handling complex commercial contracts and claims.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch, French, or German is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Supply Chain & Procurement: Act as the primary legal partner for procurement teams and manage supplier-related legal matters.
• Contracting: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including sales, supply, service, distribution, and licensing agreements.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage commercial claims and advise on dispute strategies, including coordination with external counsel.
• Risk & Compliance: Monitor legislative changes and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Governance: Develop standardized legal processes, templates, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
