The position involves delivering practical legal support across corporate, commercial, and regulatory compliance activities for group entities across the GCC, Europe, and APAC regions.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelorโs degree in Law (LLB) and a professional qualification in Secretarial practices.
- Experience Level: Minimum 7โ10 years of experience focusing on Corporate law, Commercial law, Contract law, and Compliance. Prior experience in engineering, EPC, industrial services, maritime, or energy sectors is preferred.
- Jurisdictional Requirement: Mandatory exposure to corporate governance and regional compliance frameworks across GCC jurisdictions.
- Key Competencies: Track record in contract negotiations, corporate structuring, drafting, dispute resolution, anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including EPC contracts, service agreements, joint venture terms, and supplier contracts.
- Provide legal advisory on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion across GCC, Europe, and APAC jurisdictions.
- Manage external legal counsel for complex litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
- Oversee governance and secretarial compliance for 12 corporate entities, handling annual filings, statutory updates, license renewals, and UBO compliance.
- Execute compliance audits, vendor/agent due diligence, document attestations, and internal compliance policy implementation.
