HF, a leading legal practice in health and social care, is hiring a solicitor to focus on inquests, public inquiries and related healthcare matters in London.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified solicitor or barrister
- 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
- Experience in coronial law or related practice
- Strong advocacy skills and interest in healthcare law
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage a caseload of inquests with supervision
- Advise clients on acute healthcare, mental health and specialist services
- Prepare and make complex legal submissions
- Advocate in multi‑agency inquests, often Article 2 with jury
- Client relationship management and business development
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Maintain financial management, time recording and billing
