Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 2–4 years of litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred).
• Must reside in or near the Tampa, FL area for this onsite role.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage a caseload of bodily injury defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and reports to insurance carriers.
• Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw and other legal resources.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, court conferences, and other litigation proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide case evaluations and recommendations.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: $95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr (commensurate with skills and experience)

Mode: Onsite (Tampa, Florida)
