Contextual Overview

iCIMS, a global talent cloud company, is seeking a Privacy & AI Counsel to join their legal team. This role focuses on managing global privacy compliance, data protection, and regulatory affairs, specifically concerning AI and machine learning integration within their software solutions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience (law firm, government, or in-house).
• Thorough knowledge of global privacy laws: GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, CCPA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM Act.
• Strong analytical skills regarding case law and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience, SaaS industry background, and CIPP/US or CIPP/E certifications.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Develop and maintain privacy compliance programs (GDPR/CCPA).
• Negotiate global data processing agreements (DPAs) and vendor contracts.
• Provide legal counsel on product design, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and internal compliance training.
• Assist with litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory risk management.
