Contextual Overview

Insify, a high-growth, AI-powered insurtech scale-up backed by major investors, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Amsterdam. This role is designed for a proactive lawyer to act as a business partner, shaping legal infrastructure for product launches and international expansion across Europe.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• 3+ years of professional experience in the Netherlands.
• Strong legal background in Dutch law (EU law experience is a significant advantage).
• Relevant industry exposure in financial services, insurance, or tech.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (additional European languages are a plus).
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory shifts to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise on Dutch and EU commercial and regulatory law.
• Manage international expansion from a legal perspective.
• Partner with Product, Growth, and Commercial teams to launch new offerings.
• Own GDPR and broader privacy framework compliance.
• Build and scale compliance infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: €65,000 - €80,000 annually (including holiday allowance).

Mode: Full-time, Hybrid (up to 2 days remote per week).
