iSuite L.L.C., a business support services organization for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry, is hiring a Corporate Counsel for its Legal team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on contract negotiation, claims management, and risk mitigation for construction and design projects.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Juris Doctorate (J.D.) required.
• Licensure: Bar membership as an attorney licensed to practice law in one or more states required.
• Experience: 5+ years of legal experience with both in-house and litigation experience. Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in drafting/negotiating complex commercial contracts, litigation/arbitration/mediation procedures, and risk communication to executive leadership.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Review, edit, and negotiate complex subcontracts, subconsultant agreements, vendor agreements, and software licenses.
• Evaluate potential projects based on the company's risk profile in coordination with business development teams.
• Serve as the primary legal contact for project-related disputes, managing resolution through mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
• Retain and manage outside counsel for active dispute resolution matters.
• Support corporate governance, insurance, and risk management strategy across the company.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 per year.
• Additional Compensation: Discretionary Annual Bonus, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
