Compliance Officer at Kempinski Hotels
Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Compliance Officer based in Dubai to manage guest and employee privacy across its global portfolio. This role focuses on data protection governance, regulatory monitoring, and incident management within the luxury hospitality sector.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, IT, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a compliance role, preferably in luxury hospitality or travel.
- Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT (IAPP) are highly preferred.
- Language: Fluent English is mandatory; proficiency in a second language is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Develop and maintain data protection policies and Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Monitor GDPR compliance and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Evaluate third-party vendor data protection and manage Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- Serve as the primary advisor on "Privacy by Design" and deliver global training modules.
- Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and lead incident response for data breaches.
