Senior Legal Counsel at KEO Capital AB

KEO Capital AB is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide senior legal support, primarily focusing on strategic and financial agreements, B2B products, cross-border operations, and corporate and governance matters. The role will act as a trusted legal partner, assessing legal risks and proactively enabling business, including structuring new products and addressing client demands. This full-time position is based in Brazil, with flexibility for Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Law degree.
Postgraduate degree in Corporate Law, Contract Law, Banking/Financial Law, or related fields (desirable).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Support the negotiation of strategic and financial agreements, including those related to the Company’s B2B products and cross-border operations, assessing legal risks and acting proactively to enable business.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and financial agreements, ensuring adequate risk allocation and alignment with the Company’s policies and commercial objectives.
Advise on corporate and governance matters, including corporate documentation, internal governance structures, and decision-making processes.
Provide strategic legal advice to the business areas on the structuring of new products and on the demands of external and internal clients.
Coordinate external law firms and key stakeholders on domestic and international matters, overseeing scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, contract templates, and internal guidelines, and support the Legal Manager on cross-functional legal initiatives.
