Keoghs is seeking a talented Solicitor with NQ to 2 years PQE to join its Casualty team within the Claims Management department in Bristol, England. This role involves working on a broad, highly technical caseload focusing on complex and high-value Employer's and Public Liability (EL/PL) claims, public sector client matters, and tribunal claims.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Solicitor with 0-2 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Demonstrated background or experience in personal injury, casualty litigation, insurance litigation, or general dispute resolution.
- Strong technical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine interest in managing complex and high-profile litigation.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Assist on a varied caseload of complex, high-value Employer's and Public Liability claims ranging from six-figure sums to millions of pounds.
- Review and analyze liability, causation, and quantum evidence.
- Draft legal pleadings, witness statements, and other relevant documentation.
- Liaise effectively with clients, counsel, experts, and witnesses.
- Support trial preparation, conference attendance, and tribunal matters.
- Conduct legal research and contribute strategic advice on complex legal issues.
