Keoghs is seeking a qualified Solicitor (NQ – 4 years PQE) to join their specialist Crime and Regulatory team in Leeds. The role involves managing complex health & safety and serious motor matters, working under the guidance of Lead Lawyer David Chant.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Solicitor status.
- Experience level: NQ to 4 years PQE.
- Specialist knowledge in one or more of the following: Health & Safety, Regulatory, Inquests, Traffic Commissioner, or Serious Motor law.
- Strong organizational, communication, and IT skills.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Analyzing prosecution evidence and drafting witness statements.
- Liaising with regulators (HSE, CQC, Police), courts, and coroners.
- Preparing defence case statements, sentencing, and mitigation bundles.
- Attending interviews under caution, inquests, and trials alongside Counsel.
- Reviewing medical records, post-mortem reports, and CCTV evidence.
