KERV Legal is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Complex Injury team in Southampton. The role involves managing high-value, multi-track litigation, including brain and spinal injuries, amputations, and fatal claims across EL, PL, and RTA matters for major insurer clients.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Proven experience in handling or assisting with high-value, multi-track personal injury claims.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of the litigation process, court rules, and relevant case law.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage and assist with a caseload of complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims from instruction to trial.
- Analyze liability, medical, and quantum evidence, including the use of Ogden Tables.
- Draft technical advice, pleadings, and legal documentation.
- Instruct counsel and attend conferences, JSMs, mediations, and trials.
- Support and delegate work to junior team members.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Salary: £40,000 - £52,000 per annum (based on experience).
Mode: Full-time, Hybrid (1 day per week in the Southampton office).
