Contextual Overview
The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Legal Consultant to join their newly established Tax & Legal Operations team within the global Business Services Operations (BSO) function. This role focuses on providing high-quality legal support, contract lifecycle management, and compliance oversight for operations across APAC, with a specific emphasis on supporting the company's new manufacturing facility in Vietnam.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (manufacturing, procurement, sales, and marketing).
- Working knowledge of Vietnamese law and local regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in corporate secretarial matters and entity governance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal tech/Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts across the APAC region.
- Ensure legal accuracy and compliance with internal contracting standards and governance.
- Support the standardization of legal processes, including the creation of playbooks and templates.
- Contribute to legal operations initiatives, including automation and contract analytics.
- Assist with corporate secretarial duties for legal entities across the region.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Compensation: ¥25,000 - ¥35,000 per month. The role also includes access to a bonus scheme, life/disability insurance, and a colleague discount.
