Liberis is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead its legal operations in the US. The role focuses on providing strategic legal advice, managing commercial contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the fintech and SME lending sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a preference for in-house roles.
• Strong background in contract negotiation, regulatory advisory, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting and negotiating large commercial partnership and vendor contracts.
• Advising on state and federal regulatory issues, including sales-based financing and privacy.
• Managing regulatory complaints and overseeing the company’s response process.
• Supporting product development, marketing, and new country/product launches.
• Enhancing legal operations, knowledge management, and corporate governance filings.
