Legal & Compliance Officer

Contextual Overview

Luxinnovation GIE, the national innovation agency of Luxembourg, is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to join their Finance & Compliance department. This role provides cross-functional legal and regulatory support to both Luxinnovation and the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), focusing on contract management, data protection (GDPR), public procurement, and risk management.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Advanced degree in law (Master's level) specializing in business, European, public law, compliance, or data protection.
• Proven experience in legal, paralegal, compliance, or governance roles, preferably in public or semi-public environments.
• Mandatory fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, drafting, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Regulatory Monitoring: Tracking developments in GDPR, NIS2, and public procurement legislation.
• Contractual Review: Managing NDAs, MoUs, service agreements, and standardizing contractual templates.
• Compliance Framework: Maintaining internal policies, risk registers, and ensuring operational follow-up of GDPR obligations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as a bridge between internal teams and external counsel.
