Contextual Overview

Manning Global AG is recruiting a Legal Counsel / Legal Advisor to support operations in Hungary, Austria, and other EU states on behalf of a blue-chip international client. The role focuses on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance within the logistics and supply chain sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Education: Master's degree in law from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or international law firm.
Languages: Fluency in Hungarian, English, and German is mandatory.
Preferred: Bar admission in Hungary or Austria; experience in logistics/postal services; additional language skills (Chinese, Romanian, or Slovakian).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (service, rental, distribution, logistics, and employment).
Provide legal support for operations in Hungary, Austria, and broader EU jurisdictions.
Ensure corporate governance compliance and manage board/shareholder documentation.
Advise on dispute resolution, risk management, and regulatory compliance (including GDPR and competition law).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations) on international projects and restructurings.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Salary: 800,000 - 1,300,000 HUF gross/month (dependent on experience).
