The MEKRA Lang Group, an international technology leader in the commercial vehicle industry, is seeking a Legal Counsel (Commercial & Compliance) to join their team in Ergersheim. This role focuses on providing legal advice to management, drafting commercial contracts, and supporting compliance and governance initiatives.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Full legal qualification (both German state examinations).
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in commercial law (in-house or law firm).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of contract law, risk assessment, and business operations.
• Language: Very good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide legal counsel to management and departments with a focus on pragmatic, actionable solutions.
• Draft and negotiate national and international commercial contracts.
• Support the establishment of efficient governance structures and compliance incident investigations.
• Coordinate external counsel and service providers.
• Manage risk and insurance-related legal queries.
