Associate General Counsel, Monetization Partnerships

Contextual Overview

Meta is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join its Monetization Partnerships Legal team in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on supporting commercial and technology transactions, including Meta Business Agent, Business Messaging, and Commerce, while providing strategic legal counsel to internal business development and sales teams.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant technology transactions experience (in-house or global law firm).
• Skills: Proficiency in drafting/negotiating technology deals and cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and privacy teams.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex product and commercial transactions.
• Provide strategic legal advice for 0→1 strategic partnerships and new business initiatives.
• Build scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks for partnership execution.
• Advise on emerging legal/regulatory issues, including AI-specific frameworks and automated decision-making.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: $202,000 – $274,000 per annum, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
