Corporate Counsel (Manager / Sr. Manager)

Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is recruiting a Corporate Counsel (Manager / Sr. Manager) to be based in their Basel or Zug office in Switzerland. The role serves as a strategic partner to the International Team, reporting directly to the Senior Director, EU Legal Counsel. The position supports international functions including Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Compliance to ensure operational alignment with EU and international legal standards.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Law degree from an accredited EU law school.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of legal practice, acquired either in-house or within a multi-country law firm.
• Industry Background: Experience in a commercial-stage pharmaceutical or life sciences company is highly preferred.
• Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of commercial, pricing, promotion, data privacy, and life sciences-specific laws.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in German, Italian, French, or Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and negotiate EU commercial contracts including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, clinical trial agreements, distribution/license agreements, and consultancy contracts.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure company adherence to EU regulatory standards, commercial promotion rules, clinical trial compliance, data privacy laws, and labor/employment requirements.
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Support the rollout and optimization of CLM systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Salesforce, Agiloft, Sirion), manage metadata, track contract expiry/renewal dates, and maintain archives.
• Regulatory & Tender Support: Assist EU affiliates and partners in public tender participation and dealings with Regulatory Authorities across EU jurisdictions.
