This role involves acting as a trusted legal partner to business, product, and tech teams, focusing on commercial contracts, digital regulation, and product compliance in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Preferred: Specialization or LL.M. in IT, IP, or unfair competition law; experience with M&A or product compliance.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Provide practical legal advice across Product, Technology, Marketing, Sales, and HR.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including platform terms and supplier contracts.
- Ensure product compliance by identifying legal risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Monitor regulatory developments (DSA, AI Act, GDPR, etc.) and manage external counsel.
- Utilize legal tech and AI-assisted tools for efficient legal operations.
