Senior Legal Counsel (d/f/m)

Contextual Overview

mobile.de, Germany’s largest vehicle marketplace and a subsidiary of Adevinta, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team in Berlin-Charlottenburg. This role involves acting as a trusted legal partner to business, product, and tech teams, focusing on commercial contracts, digital regulation, and product compliance in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist:in).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Preferred: Specialization or LL.M. in IT, IP, or unfair competition law; experience with M&A or product compliance.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide practical legal advice across Product, Technology, Marketing, Sales, and HR.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including platform terms and supplier contracts.
• Ensure product compliance by identifying legal risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Monitor regulatory developments (DSA, AI Act, GDPR, etc.) and manage external counsel.
• Utilize legal tech and AI-assisted tools for efficient legal operations.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Competitive base salary, company incentive programs, and a company pension scheme. The role is a paid, full-time position based in a hybrid work environment.
