Employment Law Associate Attorney

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Employment Law department. The role involves handling and supporting a heavy, complex caseload ranging from pre-litigation to trial preparation and trial within the Tampa and St. Petersburg metro area.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association.
• Experience with wage and hour claims is considered a strong plus.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Day-to-day management of cases from pre-litigation through litigation, focusing largely on the pre-suit side and assisting senior attorneys once claims are filed.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
• Guiding clients seamlessly through the case process and interacting with expert witnesses for conferences, reports, and affidavits.
• Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Not Specified (Full-time benefits package includes medical/dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays).

Mode: In-office (Tampa/St. Petersburg metro area, FL).
