Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

Multipharma, a leading cooperative in the Belgian pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Legal & Data Protection team at their headquarters in Anderlecht. The role involves providing comprehensive legal advice across various corporate departments, excluding social and tax law, and managing the company's legal dossiers.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Master in Law (LL.M. or additional master is an asset).
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel.
• Language: Native/Fluent Dutch and French (written and spoken); good knowledge of English is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a business-oriented approach.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide legal advice on commercial, contract, liability, real estate, and corporate law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts (supplier, partnership, service, ICT).
• Advise on pharmaceutical ethics and assist pharmacists in procedures before the Order of Pharmacists.
• Manage litigation and disputes in collaboration with external counsel.
• Ensure organizational compliance with new legislation and provide internal training.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Competitive salary package including group insurance, hospitalization insurance, meal vouchers, company car with fuel/charging card, and performance bonus.

Mode: Full-time, hybrid work arrangement.
