Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of practical experience in private practice or in-house.
• Licensure: Admission to the Connecticut Bar is mandatory.
• Preferred: Demonstrated interest or experience in insurance law or financial services regulation.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Support all phases of litigation, including consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries.
• Manage outside counsel and support litigation strategy and reporting.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery materials, and memoranda.
• Partner with compliance and fraud teams to investigate policyholder disputes.
• Monitor and summarize developments in insurance laws and litigation trends.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Salary: $100,000+ (Salary Band F), commensurate with experience. Includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits effective from the date of hire.
