The National University Health System (NUHS) is seeking a Senior Manager for its Research Partnership & Innovation Office (PIO) on a 2-year contract. This role focuses on the legal and operational management of research-related agreements, ensuring compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards to support clinical research and innovation.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelorโs degree in Law, Science, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in drafting and reviewing research-related agreements.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, pharmaceutical/CRO, academic, or research environment.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property (IP) and commercialization is an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and execute Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Research Collaboration Agreements (RCAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between researchers, sponsors, and legal counsel.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage risks related to IP, liability, and data sharing.
- Compliance: Ensure all agreements adhere to institutional policies, federal/state regulations, and funding agency requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior staff on contract negotiation strategies.
