Newport Williams is recruiting for a well-established, full-service law firm to join its Manhattan-based Tort & Insurance Defense practice. This full-time associate role offers immediate client exposure and substantive responsibility in personal injury tort and insurance defense litigation.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- J.D. degree with strong academic credentials
- Active New York Bar admission (required)
- New Jersey Bar admission (preferred)
- 4+ years of personal injury tort litigation experience
- Trial experience is a plus but not mandatory
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Represent clients in personal injury tort and insurance defense litigation
- Manage depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents
