Senior Commercial Counsel

Contextual Overview

NiCE is hiring a Senior Commercial Counsel to join its Americas Legal team in Sandy, UT. This role focuses on supporting high-value commercial and technology transactions, specifically enabling the growth of the CXone Mpower platform through the negotiation of complex SaaS and strategic partnership agreements.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials.
• Licensing: Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience: 8 to 10+ years of legal experience, with significant expertise in SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise software transactions (vendor-side).
• In-House: Prior in-house legal experience in a commercial or technology-driven environment is required.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead complex commercial and technology transactions across sales, product, and procurement.
• Provide guidance on U.S. and international data protection, cybersecurity, and IP law.
• Develop and scale legal operations, including playbooks, templates, and contracting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Negotiate inbound procurement and vendor agreements.
