Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking a versatile real estate associate to join its Condominiums & Cooperatives practice group in New York, NY. The role involves managing complex real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, and filings within the cooperative and condominium development sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: At least 4–6 years of direct experience in commercial real estate transactions, ideally with a background in cooperative and condominium development.
• Credentials: Strong academic credentials, superb judgment, and communication skills.
• Skills: Strong understanding of New York regulatory frameworks governing condominiums and cooperatives, including offering plan preparation, sponsor submissions, and NYS Attorney General filings.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Managing complex financings, purchases, sales, and lease negotiations.
• Preparing offering plans, sponsor submissions, and filings with the New York State Attorney General's Office.
• Drafting and negotiating real estate contracts.
• Conducting due diligence, coordinating with title companies, and managing all phases of the real estate closing process.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Anticipated Annual Salary: $275,000 to $325,000 (plus standard benefits and potential contingent compensation based on performance, experience, and qualifications).

Mode: Full-time, On-site in New York, NY.
