Legal Counsel - APAC

Contextual Overview

Orange Business is seeking a dedicated Legal Counsel - APAC to join its dynamic legal team based in Singapore. This in-house role provides legal and operational support across the Asia Pacific region, focusing primarily on the ASEAN, Japan, and Korea (AJK) region within the Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Hold a law degree from a reputable university with an excellent academic background.
• Must be qualified to practice law in Singapore.
• 2–3 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) working in an international corporation or law firm (experience in private practice looking to move in-house is ideal).
• Prior experience in contract drafting and commercial/transactional negotiations for international transactions.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); proficiency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide quality legal support to internal stakeholders on Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, and the drafting/negotiating of customer and supplier contracts across ICT services (connectivity, cloud, security, etc.).
• Offer general legal advice to internal functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Sourcing, and Real Estate & Facilities Management.
• Engage and manage outside counsel across the APAC region for country-specific regulations, dispute resolution, and corporate filings.
• Participate in regional and global meetings and projects supporting the Orange Business Global Legal team.
