Philip Morris Management Services (Middle East) Ltd (PMMS) is seeking a Sr Specialist Regulatory & Corporate Affairs based in Dubai to join their Corporate Affairs team. Reporting to the Sr Manager Regulatory Policy, the role supports government affairs, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and regulatory policy across the Middle East Cluster to facilitate a favorable operating environment and advance PMI's smoke-free transformation.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelorโs degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Law, Business, Science, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or External Affairs, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and policy environments across the GCC.
- Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory developments into actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Corporate Affairs: Support government affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with business priorities; build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, policymakers, trade associations, and key stakeholders; coordinate engagement initiatives and represent PMI at relevant external forums; monitor regulatory, legislative, and public policy developments to assess business impact.
- Regulatory Policy: Monitor regulatory developments impacting market access, product commercialization, commercial enablers, and ESG requirements; assess emerging trends and translate insights into business recommendations; support the development of policy positions, briefing materials, reports, and advocacy narratives; gather regulatory intelligence and benchmark international frameworks.
