Philips is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its Greater China Legal team based in Shanghai. The role acts as a vital business partner providing comprehensive legal support across Philips' extensive product portfolio—ranging from consumer products to medical devices—and complex business models (B2B, B2C, B2G).

Key Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s and preferably Master’s degree in Law.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in legal practice.
Admitted to the PRC Bar.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Preference for candidates with a mix of in-house and private practice experience in a multinational company/international law firm, or prior experience in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Lead legal support for contract reviews and negotiations, business model structuring, M&A projects, dispute resolution, investigations, and crisis handling.
Identify, prevent, and respond to legal and compliance risks concerning anti-trust, anti-bribery, healthcare professionals, data security, privacy, and export control.
Independently drive projects through comprehensive planning and cross-functional teamwork.
Continuously improve legal service efficiency and optimize advice quality to meet practical business needs.
Handle compliance training, implementation, and enforcement within the organization, and coach junior lawyers within the Greater China legal department.
