Contextual Overview
PropRec Search is recruiting a UK-qualified Legal Counsel on behalf of a growing international business based in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom. This role offers an in-house career opportunity supporting the Head of Legal with a strong focus on commercial and technology contracts.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a UK-qualified lawyer with 2+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Previous in-house legal exposure and familiarity with the technology sector are highly advantageous.
- Must be eligible to obtain BPSS and SC security clearance.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for commercial-based transactions.
- Develop template contracts to improve overall business efficiency.
- Participate in customer calls to address legal and commercial risk profiles, product/service offerings, and operational policies.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and compliance teams during high-pressure deal periods (month, quarter, and year-end).
- Assist with various legal projects across the organization with increasing autonomy.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Base Pay Range: ยฃ60,000.00 to ยฃ65,000.00 per annum (depending on experience), plus a monthly car allowance, comprehensive benefits scheme, and hybrid working arrangements.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
