Qt Group is seeking a Legal Counsel, Product & Privacy to join their legal team in either Espoo, Finland, or London, UK. The role involves supporting a multi-product portfolio, focusing on open-source and commercial licensing, and ensuring regulatory compliance with the EU AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and GDPR.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience advising on technology, software, or IP matters.
• Practical experience with open-source licensing (e.g., GPL/LGPL) and third-party software licenses.
• Working knowledge of EU data protection law (GDPR).
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise Product, R&D, and business teams on software licensing models.
• Support compliance efforts for the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and EU AI Act.
• Provide legal support for strategic product initiatives and M&A integration.
• Partner with Security and Engineering teams to integrate compliance into product frameworks.
