Senior/ Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

RGE is seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore. This role involves supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses across multiple jurisdictions, advising on strategic initiatives, and shaping legal and compliance frameworks to enable business growth.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal environment.
• Strong grounding in corporate and commercial legal matters, including contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
• Regional or cross-border legal experience is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide pragmatic legal advice on corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and strategic business arrangements.
• Support business expansion, transformation projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Advise stakeholders on legal risks, regulatory developments, and company policies.
• Develop and enhance legal processes and compliance frameworks.
• Manage external counsel to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
