Rijkswaterstaat, the Dutch executive agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, is seeking a Juridisch adviseur (Legal Advisor) based in Haarlem. The role focuses on providing legal counsel regarding road management, water management, and nautical operations, ensuring compliance with the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet).

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Proficiency in administrative and private law.
• Specific knowledge of the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet) and relevant policy frameworks.
• Ability to work independently on legal cases and represent the Minister in legal proceedings.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide legal advice on permitting, enforcement, and governance agreements.
• Handle objections, complaints, and damage claims.
• Act as secretary in objection procedures and represent the Minister in (higher) appeal cases.
• Collaborate with departments such as real estate, permitting, and policy.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Salary: €4.132,00 - €6.275,00 per month (based on skills and experience).
