Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a qualified Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team in the UK. The role provides comprehensive legal support to a rapidly expanding civil nuclear business, focusing on development, engineering, and design activities for Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer with the right to work and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Demonstrable post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Experience in-house or on secondment is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including supply chain contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and licensing agreements.
• Providing legal counsel to internal stakeholders on contractual risks and compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, engineering) to align terms with business objectives.
• Preparing legal documentation, policies, and research reports.

Stipend & Compensation

Salary: £66,240 - £86,940 per annum (DOE).
