Contracts Manager - Electrical

Contextual Overview

RYB Engineering Pte Ltd, a leading electrical engineering firm, is seeking a Contracts Manager - Electrical to oversee contract administration, tendering, and procurement for data center and commercial projects in Singapore. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and efficient project execution.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in contracts management within the construction/engineering sector.
• Proven focus on electrical projects (data centers or commercial buildings preferred).
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, including the Building Control Act.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of subcontracts, supply agreements, and variation orders.
• Manage tender processes, including compilation of documents and evaluation of supplier proposals.
• Monitor contract performance and manage change orders in compliance with BCA guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments related to electrical installations, safety standards, and supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve contractual disputes and facilitate project handovers.
