Based in Paris in a hybrid working arrangement, the role involves providing commercial, practical legal advice on go-to-market strategies, complex technology contracts, data privacy, compliance, and cross-border initiatives.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Qualified lawyer with a law degree and admission to practice law.
- Experience: At least 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) gained in-house or in private practice.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong commercial legal experience with understanding of intellectual property and data privacy principles.
- Skills: Drafting, negotiation, risk management, stakeholder management, and a growth mindset towards continuous improvement and innovation (e.g., AI and emerging tech).
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Provide business-focused legal counsel to business leaders across Southern Europe.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements and commercial contracts.
- Support go-to-market activities, cross-border projects, compliance programs, and risk management frameworks.
- Mentoring junior legal team members and creating self-service tools and guidance materials for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with international legal teams across jurisdictions under the 'One OGC' framework.
