SD Legal is recruiting a General Counsel - Funds on behalf of a global real estate and data center-focused fund with its regional headquarters in Singapore. The role involves leading the legal function across Asia, overseeing transactions, commercial advisory, and regulatory compliance while managing a team of seven.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead the legal function across Asia from the regional HQ in Singapore.
- Handle end-to-end transaction work, commercial advice, and regulatory support focusing on Real Estate Investments, M&A, JVs, and general corporate matters.
- Provide commercial guidance to senior leaders across the region and participate in the APAC steering committee.
- Manage and oversee regulatory and compliance alignment alongside transactional deal work.
- Develop, hire, and grow a team of mid-to-senior legal and compliance staff.
