Key Eligibility Criteria

• Recognised Degree in Legal and/or Quantity Surveying with good understanding of the construction process.
• Preferably at least 10 years of experience in a QS consulting environment, specifically in infrastructure, container ports, marine terminals, or coastal development projects.
• Well versed with Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract and various types of Contract Conditions.
• Strong writing, communication, negotiation, and mediation skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel overseas for project requirements.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Formulate procurement strategy and advise on contract forms.
• Prepare tender documentation, particularly contractual provisions, and manage pre-qualification and tender evaluation.
• Provide contractual advice to project teams, draft correspondences, and review variation, extension of time, and loss & expense claims.
• Maintain project contractual risk registers.
• Support claim negotiations, manage contractual changes, and resolve disputes with contractors.
• Monitor legal developments in the construction industry and provide regular updates to project teams.
