Legal Counsel - Connectivity

Contextual Overview

Sky is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel - Connectivity to join its legal team in London, England, United Kingdom. This role acts as a legal partner to the teams procuring technology solutions and services underpinning Sky’s Connectivity business (residential and B2B), supporting the priority to deliver a Best in Class Connectivity Experience.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer based in the UK.
• Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK (Sky does not offer sponsorship for this position).
• Experience in the telecoms and/or technology sector (private practice or in-house).
• Strong attention to detail, excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Proactive, well-organised, and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Negotiate and draft commercial contracts focusing on the technology and telecoms sector in collaboration with commercial, strategy, and finance teams.
• Advise stakeholders on legal and commercial risks, proposing business-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with Sky’s legal Managed Service Provider on contracts, including playbooks and templates development.
• Support new ways of working, including automation, self-serve guidance, and AI utilisation.
• Develop know-how and training materials for legal colleagues and relevant stakeholders.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

• Compensation: Competitive salary with benefits including free Sky TV, pension up to 9% employer contribution, private healthcare, dental insurance, and product discounts.
• Mode: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office per week at Sky Group HQ, Osterley).
