Legal Counsel, Financing (4 to 8 PQE) – Digital Infrastructure Platform

Contextual Overview

A fast-growing digital infrastructure platform is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their legal team in Singapore. This role focuses on financing matters, including debt financing, refinancing, and capital projects, supporting the organization's expansion across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 4–8 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Qualification: Singapore-qualified, England & Wales-qualified, or other common law jurisdiction qualification.
• Specialization: Proven experience in banking and finance, project finance, acquisition finance, or infrastructure finance.
• Background: Experience from leading law firms or established in-house legal teams.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage financing and treasury documentation, including facility agreements and security documents.
• Collaborate with finance and investment teams on funding requirements for growth projects and acquisitions.
• Provide legal support for digital infrastructure projects, including data center developments and procurement.
• Oversee external counsel and ensure cost-efficient legal support across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general commercial legal matters.
