Stanley Executive Search, Inc is hiring a full-time Legal Counsel (法律顾问) based in Singapore. The position focuses on AI technology, data privacy, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and cross-border commercial transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Singapore and China.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Education: Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualification: Qualified to practice law in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory, including the capability to draft and negotiate legal documents in both languages.
Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of AI, data privacy, intellectual property, and technology law. Experience working in or with the Asia-Pacific region is highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Provide legal advice and support on AI-related matters, including data privacy, IP, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as technology licensing, SaaS, partnership, and vendor agreements.
Monitor and analyze evolving AI regulations and policies across key jurisdictions (Singapore, China, and APAC).
Advise on cross-border transactions and ensure compliance with local and international legal frameworks.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to mitigate legal risks in AI product development and deployment.
Manage external counsel, legal budgets, and support corporate governance, M&A, or strategic initiatives as needed.
