Senior Compliance Officer, Financial Crime Prevention, APAC

Contextual Overview

StoneX Group Inc., a Fortune‑100 Nasdaq‑listed financial services firm, is hiring a Senior Compliance Officer – Financial Crime Prevention (APAC) based in Singapore. The role is full‑time, permanent and reports to the Financial Crime Compliance Manager, APAC.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• University degree in accounting, business, finance, law or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in KYC, EDD, AML, CFT, sanctions or anti‑bribery & corruption within financial services.
• Familiarity with MAS Notices, Payment Services Act, FATF Recommendations.
• Prior employment at banks, major payment institutions, brokerages or comparable firms.
• Professional certification in financial‑crime compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Conduct enhanced CDD, vendor and transactional due‑diligence, UBO/PEP analysis, adverse‑media screening.
• Provide FCP advice across Precious Metals, Securities, Derivatives, Payments, Digital Token services.
• Review and investigate suspicious transactions; prepare and file STRs.
• Perform AML/CFT transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, communications surveillance.
• Execute compliance testing, policy updates, and support audits and regulator inquiries.
• Participate in enterprise‑wide risk assessments and digital projects for FCP system upgrades.
