Legal Counsel – Property & Land Rights at Supernova Power
Supernova Power, a renewable energy company, is hiring a full‑time Legal Counsel to manage property and land rights for its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and gas peaker projects. The role involves drafting and negotiating key agreements, overseeing due diligence, and coordinating with landowners and grid operators.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales and/or Scotland
- Property law experience
- 0‑3 years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent)
- Energy‑sector experience (renewable, grid, project development) preferred
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Negotiate and draft options, leases, easements, wayleaves, and access rights
- Manage land rights for grid connections and cable routes
- Own property due diligence and title/land registry matters
- Work directly with landowners, DNOs, and other stakeholders
