SURFBASE is developing an indoor surfing, sport, retail, and hospitality destination in Dubai and is seeking a practical Legal Officer to handle everyday legal work, contract administration, and compliance matters within a growing business environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Hold a recognized law degree.
Demonstrated practical experience with commercial contracts and corporate documentation.
Strong business English proficiency for drafting correspondence and negotiating terms.
Prior UAE experience in local corporate administration and commercial matters is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Russian language is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including supplier, service, construction, and property-related documents.
Support corporate administration and investor documentation, maintaining records, checking inconsistencies, and coordinating missing approvals.
Maintain a reliable tracking calendar for licenses, renewals, contractual deadlines, and corporate actions.
Prepare correspondence on contractual issues/disputes, organize evidence, and coordinate with external legal advisers when necessary.
Provide management with concise legal advice covering business impacts, available options, and clear recommendations.
Manage HR administration for up to 20% of the role, including employment paperwork, onboarding, offboarding, and personnel records.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 per month (Full-time position, commensurate with experience).
