Sycomp, a global IT services and logistics provider, is seeking an experienced International Commercial Counsel for its APAC regional office in Singapore. This role involves managing commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and licensing, while acting as the primary legal point of contact for internal business units in the region.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Juris Doctorate or equivalent from an accredited major law school.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice in the United States or the UK.
- Experience: 5-7+ years of commercial contract experience in an attorney capacity, preferably with in-house commercial licensing experience.
- Language: Mandarin proficiency is highly desired.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in hardware, software, or IT services/VAR industry is required.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Structure, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, vendor/reseller/licensing contracts).
- Manage legal risk and ensure compliance with internal business requirements.
- Provide support on privacy, compliance, and ad-hoc corporate legal projects.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Logistics teams to support international operations.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Base Pay Range: SGD 150,000 – SGD 170,000 per annum. The role operates on a hybrid model in Singapore.
