Taptap Send, a global cross-border fintech company, is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join their team in Singapore. The role focuses on navigating regulatory frameworks for financial products, supporting new market entries, and ensuring ongoing compliance across global operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Qualified lawyer with 5 to 10 years of practicing experience.
• Domain Expertise: Experience in payments or regulated business, ideally within an in-house fintech environment.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to navigate financial product regulatory frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience in APAC markets and prior experience working with regulators.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead legal and regulatory aspects of new product launches and development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, finance, and infosec teams.
• Manage license applications for new market entries and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Lead direct engagement with regulatory bodies.
• Draft and negotiate agreements while balancing business and legal perspectives.
