Taylor Root is partnering with a leading global asset manager to recruit a Regulatory Lawyer for their high-performing legal team in London. The role focuses on advising on the evolving regulatory landscape impacting investment management activities across the UK and Europe.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Solicitor in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
• Experience: 1-7 years PQE gained within a leading law firm or financial institution (equivalent experience considered).
• Technical Skills: Expertise in UK and European financial services regulation, specifically FCA rules, MiFID, AIFMD, and UCITS.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Support product development and provide regulatory guidance on investment strategies and distribution channels.
• Interpret and implement regulatory developments, assessing their impact on business operations.
• Advise stakeholders across portfolio management, distribution, operations, risk, and compliance.
• Review and negotiate client, distribution, and service provider agreements.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice to senior management.
