Property Counsel

Contextual Overview

The Arch Company is seeking a Property Counsel to join its growing legal team in London, England (Hybrid). This role supports one of the UK's most unique and diverse commercial property portfolios, offering an in-house opportunity for a commercially minded real estate lawyer to work closely with asset managers, leasing teams, and senior stakeholders.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified real estate lawyer
• 2 to 7 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
• Commercial mindset with experience in handling high-volume leasing and property portfolios

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting, negotiating, and completing a wide range of commercial leases and transactional property documentation.
• Managing lease renewals, including matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
• Conducting title investigations and handling HM Land Registry matters.
• Advising on day-to-day property legal queries across the business.
• Supporting a busy, high-volume leasing function while helping develop paralegals.
• Collaborating with senior colleagues and external counsel on complex property matters.
